In the first year of activities, MuVie will publish a report on the state of the art and user needs in music education for visually impaired children. The report will include existing good practices and prospects for development, and will identify and gather needs to support music teachers, students, user associations, libraries, study assistants. The research is based on questionnaires designed for five categories of users: 
  • Visually impaired music students in mainstream or special schools, 
  • Music teachers and school operators,
  • Parents of visually impaired music learners,
  • Organisations and Braille libraries, 
  • Amateur and professional musicians. 

The aim of this questionnaire is to identify and explore the main challenges in ensuring inclusive and high quality music education, and to support the development of innovative and effective solutions for the learning pathways of these students.
