On March 15, 2026 EKMS organised a multiplier event aimed at presenting the MuVie project. The participants were members of Modo Maiorum choir and the meeting took place on the premises of the Culture Centre of Wilanów District in Warsaw.

The participation of two blind persons in the choir can be considered an example of successful inclusive co-operation within this vocal group.

Agenda of the meeting

  1. Presentation of the Muvie website, in particular short introduction of the project partners and materials published on the website.
  2. Brief history of Braille music notation with a focus on technological innovations.
  3. Demonstration of BM2025 during which a short music piece was dictated by one of the choristers to a blind person.
  4. Talking about preliminary implementation of AI-based voice commands in the program.
  5. Conclusion – the role of technological progress in the accessibility improvement for the visually impaired persons.

Summary

Out of 10 people participating in the event 6 filled in a questionnaire designed for the meeting. For most of the respondents the meeting included information which was new for them. People prefer face-to-face conversations from the information acquired from the internet, which shows usability of direct contacts. The participants were particularly interested in the demonstration of BM2025 as a practical tool for blind musicians. Within two days after the meeting they received a short canon dictated during the event in the form of a score in pdf and mp3.

It becomes clear that the projects such as MuVie may add to the inclusion of blind musicians in the music-related communities.
