On the 10th of February 2026, during the Educators’ Professional Development Day (organised by the Ministry of Education of Cyprus), a dissemination event was held at the School for the Blind in Nicosia, where we presented the MuVie Project and the tools developed through it, namely the MuVie Digital Library, BM2025, and BMR2025.
A total of 33 participants attended, and we were third in the order of presentations, delivering a one-hour session entitled “MuVie - Music for the Visually Impaired.” This was followed by a meaningful discussion and exchange of views with the audience.
During the event, additional thematic presentations included the DEAP Erasmus - Empowerment Program for Young People with Visual Impairments (“Sculpting Potential”), the RESET-DEAP Project - DANCE, Erasmus+ K2 (Job Shadowing) at the National Rehabilitation Center for the Blind (NRCB), as well as the presentation “Transforming Education: Integrating AI, AR, VR and 3D Printing for Effective Learning.”
The presentations highlighted contemporary and innovative approaches to education and the empowerment of people with visual impairments.
