MuVie was proud to participate in the 17th International Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE 2025), held in Nicosia, Cyprus. The conference brought together researchers, practitioners, and innovators working to advance accessibility and inclusion through technology.
The MuVie project contributed with two oral presentations in the Research Strand:
- “MuVie: Innovative Methods and Digital Technologies for Blind Music Education – Needs Analysis”
presented by Anna Nicotra - “MuVie: Innovating Braille Jazz Notation and Enhancing Music Accessibility for Blind Students”
presented by George Ioannidis
Additionally, George Ioannidis represented MuVie in the Inclusion Forum with a session titled: “Enhancing Accessibility in Music Education through Innovative Solutions.”
MuVie was also featured in the poster area, offering an overview of the project’s goals, methodology, and early outcomes in the field of accessible music education for blind and visually impaired learners.
We thank the AAATE community for the opportunity to exchange ideas and build new connections as we continue working toward inclusive, tech-driven approaches in the arts.
