MuVie is excited to invite you to an upcoming masterclass focusing on accessibility in music education for people with visual impairments. The session, titled Access to Music Studios for the Visually Impaired: Tradition and the Prospects Offered by New Technologies, is part of the broader training cycle on inclusive music pedagogy.
Led by Professors Anna and Giuseppe Nicotra from the Conservatory of Brescia and Siena Jazz University, this masterclass will explore how accessible music practices have evolved, from traditional methods to the state-of-the-art tools now available. A particular highlight will be the presentation of 'Play 2', a telematic music library project providing Braille scores and digital resources to empower visually impaired musicians.
This session is particularly relevant for educators, musicians, conservatoire staff and anyone involved in inclusive or special needs education in the arts.
Registration forms will soon be available on the Conservatorio website. Completed forms should be sent to protocollo@consvv.it with the following subject line: "Masterclass Didattica inclusiva (pacchetto)" or the name of the specific session.
